Participation Requirements

Students allowed to participate in language courses:

1. Students enrolled at the University of Munich:
   
   • students taking a degree at the LMU
   • ERASMUS and exchange students (who study at the LMU for a limited period)
2. Doctoral students (must be fully matriculated at the LMU with a campus login)

PLEASE NOTE: The Language Center makes the final decision on who is able to participate in the language courses.

Those NOT allowed to participate in language courses:

• "Gaststudierende" (= students who do not study full time) at the University of Munich cannot participate in language courses.
• Employees at the LMU, non University of Munich students, participants of the "Studienkolleg" and "Seniorenstudium" (Post-Professional Academic Education) cannot participate in language courses.
• A language course is NOT offered to students who are studying the language as either their main or subsidiary discipline.
