Language course exam and result

The language courses have an end of term exam, for online courses this will be a task which must be completed during a certain time period and uploaded onto the Moodle platform. Taking the exam is a requirement in order to pass the course. When you have successfully passed the required course work and exam you will receive 3 ECTS credit points for a course of 2 hours per week. You will receive 6 ECTS credit points for a course of 4 hours per week.

1. Language course exam registration

You will need to register for the exam as it is part of the language course and usually takes place during the last month of the course (either January/February or July). A course requirement is regular participation (you are only allowed to miss a maximum of 2 sessions). You will find the exact registration date and details on the German website of the Language Center.

2. Exam dates

The course exam normally takes place in the last week of the semester. Your teacher will give you more information towards the end of the course.

3. Language course results

Your result will appear on an extra page "Zusatzleistungen Sprachenzentrum" within your Transcript of Records. However, it will only appear if you have registered for the exam on the LSF.

In addition, your result will also appear in the "Transcript Exchange". We will enter your result there as soon as we have your result.

Münchner Volkshochschule (VHS) language course participation certificates

The participation certificates for beginner courses in French A1.1, Italian A1.1 and Spanish A1.1 at the VHS, will be available at the end of the course. These will only be given to students who have not missed more than 3 sessions. The course is 2 SWS.
